Week 4 (and Week 13)
I'm 3 weeks and 3 days old
And I'm glad I'm not a Wildebeest !
Today I watched a nature programme with daddy. We were curled up on the sofa in front of the TV and it was lovely.
It was all about wildebeest and I'm very glad I'm not one of them. My life is easy and I get cuddles and food and I'm lovely and warm.
The poor wildebeest live in Africa and it seems that everything else in Africa is trying to eat them.
I'm glad I'm a baby!

The poor wildebeest live in Africa and it seems that everything else in Africa is trying to eat them.
- First they have to cross the acidic 'lake of doom' that disolves their legs unless they swim really fast
- Then they have to cross the turbulent 'river of death'
- Then they have to survive the drought and parched earth and lack of grass
- Then there are the big strong lions. They chase the wildebeest in packs and drag them down and eat them.
- Then there are the hyenas who chuckle as the gulp the poor wildebeest bones
- Then there are the vultures who gobble as they gobble (or is that turkeys!)
- Then there are the speedy cheetahs who outrun the wildebeest and pull them down
- Then there are the sneaky leopards who sneak and slither and slide until they're close enough to eat some more
- And finally there are the crocodiles who lurk in the depths and spring from the water and grab the wildebeest and drown them
I'm glad I'm a baby!
