Day 31

I am 1 month old - and minus 1 month old

I should not have been born yet. But I am.

I might not have lived. But I did.

I now weigh 1.80Kg (4lb exactly).
The feeding tube has gone from my nose. That was the last tube.
There are no tubes. No wires. No ventilator. No wires. No monitors.
I can now eat for myself - as much as I want.
I can keep myself warm.
I can have a bath.

Mummy and daddy will be staying in the flat at the hospital tonight. For a bit of practice before I come home. Which will probably be tomorrow.

Daddy has this idea that he will be able to do some work tomorrow. Silly daddy! You're going to be way too tired for that.

Mummy and daddy are really excited. They can't wait. And neither can I !!!!
