Week 9 (and Week 18)
I smiled!
Mummy and daddy are so happy. I have smiled at them.
It's taken a long time, longer than lots of other babies but I've started smiling! And once I started, well I like doing it so I smile again and again. When I'm not crying that is!
I smile when I see daddy in the morning
I smile when mummy feeds me. Which makes the milk dribble out of my mouth
I smile when I'm in the bath
I smile when I'm on my play-mat (sometimes!)
I smile when I have a pooh. I like having a pooh.
I even smile sometimes when I'm asleep (practise makes perfect don't you know!)
It's often a strange smile as I'm still working on the technique but it's getting better every day
